Improving the energy efficiency of connected objects

At the moment, to double the speed of a smartphone, we double the number of antennas and amplifiers or we might even use a more powerful amplifier, capable of generating more complex signals. Such solutions use a lot of energy.
Featured at the 2021 Research Exhibition, this project offers, for connected objects, a reconfigurable compact antenna and a new signal processing technique known as “spatial modulation” and, for networks, smart antennas.
