Yōkobo: Finding a Discreet Place for Robots in Connected Homes

Can connected homes make room for a new type of animated object? The product of a Franco-Japanese research project, Yōkobo, is a “robject” that attempts to communicate with humans in its own sensitive, poetic and minimalistic way. The initiative won the 2021 Kawaii Kansei Design Excellence Award.
