Digital fairness and transparency serving autonomy

Isn’t the digital revolution a source of threats and risks to individual freedoms? France’s law of October 7, 2016 for a digital Republic requires digital platforms to establish and respect good practices in respect of fairness and transparency. Is this regulatory dictate adapted to the reality of the uses made by individuals and the companies collecting data?
For Valérie Peugeot, a futurist in the Orange Labs social science laboratory, the digital stakes are not formulated in terms of danger or progress.
