Orange Marine met le nom de la mathématicienne Sophie Germain à l’honneur pour son nouveau navire câblier. Ce sera le premier navire conçu spécifiquement pour la réparation des câbles sous-marins de tout type, que ce soient des câbles de télécommunications à fibre optique ou des câbles d’énergie reliant des éoliennes offshore.
