Customer experience boosted by 5G

Scheduled for 2020, 5G will dramatically increase network performance and customer experience. The network will be able to “perceive” the quality of each service, throughout its mobility programme, anticipate and optimise high-speed broadband coverage to make the experience the best possible throughout the day. The city, rural areas and eventually even emerging countries will thus have room connectivity. The innovation presented by the Orange research teams at the  2016 Research Fair from 6 to 8 December shows how the broadband speed of pedestrians moving within the district of Les Halles in Paris is changing, and how the customer experience can be improved by 5G in areas with very high traffic density.
